Axelira's Europa chip is equipped with a high-performance SRAM memory chip.

On October 21st, 2025, Axelera AI, a Dutch artificial intelligence hardware company, officially released its latest AI reasoning chip, Europa. The chip is positioned as a high-performance solution for multi-user generated AI and computer vision applications, aiming to set a new industry benchmark among performance, energy efficiency and cost. Europa chip adopts 128MB SRAM memory chip, and high performance SRAM gives Europa more possibilities.
 

Europa combines the advantages of high computing power, low power consumption and compact package of SRAM memory chip in design, supports a variety of hardware forms from edge devices to enterprise servers, and is especially suitable for running computation-intensive multimodal AI reasoning tasks.
 

In terms of performance, Europa achieved a peak computing power of 214 TOPS, while the power consumption was controlled within 45 watts, showing an excellent energy efficiency ratio. In order to further improve the data throughput efficiency, the chip integrates 64GB of memory and is specially equipped with 128MB of on-chip L2 SRAM. This SRAM SRAM configuration, combined with the transmission bandwidth of 25GB/s(200 Gbps), effectively reduces the data access delay and provides stable high throughput for real-time generative AI applications.
 

Axelera AI said that the overall energy efficiency of Europa can reach three to five times that of similar products, making it a very competitive choice in the high-end AI reasoning market.
